Saturday. 2nd [May 1896]. Augusta & I had a busy morning arranging furniture & putting rooms in order. Wet morning. After lunch Mrs Eden came—& we 3 went out in gondola. They dropped me at Iduna’s & I sat with her a little. She was not very well– I rejoined Augusta at the Edens & had tea there & we came home at 6. Aline had remained at home & went to bed before dinner—not being so well. I read aloud to Augusta before & after dinner. | |
