5 June 1896 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 5th [June 1896]. Went with Ct Seckendorff to sit to Passini till 12. Came home & painted. Iduna Bel came to tea– Went out after with her for a row. We left Augusta at SS Gio: & Paolo to sketch & went round by the Arsenal for some air & then went to Palazzo Gritti where there is a lace & silk shop kept by Melville & Ziffer to speak for a poor old lady Vittoria Tranquilli who had got into disgrace & then home to dinner. Mr Woods dined with us. | |
