16 September 1896 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 16th [September 1896]. After typing all the morning I went out to the Edens garden after tea & got some flowers. I called twice at Olgas—but did not see Aspasie as she cd not leave Olga. The avvocato I met at the door gave a very bad account of her. Count & Css Belmondo, Mrs & Miss Parnis & Genl de Horsey dined with me. Olga Mocenigo, her daur Valentine & her sister Pss Adine Windischgrätz came in the evening for a short time. | |
