7 October 1896 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. [7th October 1896]. Took out my model I had begun a long time ago of Henry & worked at it most of the morning. After lunch I went out in gondola with the 2 Hansons & we went to the Eden’s garden & found both Mr & Mrs Eden there & walked abt & talked & Carry picked flowers for me & gave us figs to eat off the tree. Nevil & George met us there having came on foot. Genl de Horsey was also there & brought George home & we brought home Nevil. | |
