27 November 1896 — Springfield Lodge, nr. Dorking, Surrey | |
Friday. 27th [November 1896]. As I had sent down the carriage & horses wh had to be put up in Westcott village—Maria & I took a short drive in the afternoon along the Holmwood road. It was very cold & frosty but the sun shone. We got home to 5 o’cl tea– Played patience in evening. | |
