18 December 1896 — 3 Savile Row | |
Friday. 18th [December 1896]. Visit from Mr Rassam who is much aged & very bent. Miss Jeffery called abt Garry Hill work. Elaine Guest called being in town for a day or two. I drove out at 2.30 & fetched Sophy P. & took her to her shopping & then took her home. Came home to 5 o’cl tea—& then walked out again at 6 to Buckland’s Hotel to see Mrs Arthur Hanson & sat an hour with her. Home & dined—not very well & went early to bed. | |
