3 January 1897 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Sunday. 3rd January [1897]. Went to morning service. After lunch Connie & I took a walk with our brother Ivor walked to the kitchen gardens—to see the hot houses & then to the Park to see the planting. Went to the Nineveh Porch & discussed the moving of the marbles to a better place. It struck me a porch might be made for them at the usual garden door opening on to the bowling green. Ivor approved. Went to evening service with Ivor at 6.30. | |
