Wednesday. 6th [January 1897]. Dr Edgelow came in morng. I went out for a walk at 12. Called on Lady Thompson who was not in & then on to Maria’s. She returned to lunch with me & afterwards we drove out together. I bought a new fountain pen—& a silver case for it to suspend to my waist. Home at 5. Mrs J. R. Green came to tea & we had a pleasant little chat. | |
