29 March 1897 — 3 Savile Row
Monday. 29th [March 1897]. My knee was better but I had to use a stick to walk with. Mr Rate came to see me & we arranged that I shall give up Springfield on 11th May. After lunch I drove with Lady Gregory & Nellie to Whitefriars to see Mr Powell & arrange finally about the memorial tablet I am to put up to Henry in St Margaret’s Church Westr. We discussed the mosaic decorations & Mr Powell showed us all his works, glass painting for windows, mosaic work &c. We thence went to 17 Cav. Square & had tea with Blanche.
