Wednesday. 31st [March 1897]. Studio in morning & had lesson of Mr Vigor. Lady Robert Cecil joined the class. After lunch I took Mary to St George’s Square to have a singing lesson of Mr Post he having kindly consented to “coach” her. He was pleased with her voice. I dined with the Hallam Murrays & there meet Sir Wm & Lady Markley, Louis & Darcy Du Cane & Lord Kinnear. Mary dined with the Du Canes. | |
