11 June 1897 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Friday. 11th [June 1897]. Hot day. After tea onie & I drove out in poney carriage—took a map with us to find our way by. We drove to Tolpiddle & back by Affpiddle to Chamberlain’s bridge & there met Arthur DC. & I remained with him & fished but with no result. Onie went home & sent the carriage back later for us. | |
