15 June 1897 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Tuesday. 15th June [1897]. Finished a crayon drawing of Onie in the morning– At 4 Nellie & I drove in the poney carriage to Cham: Bridge. Onie & Mr Wyld went on bycicles. He & I tried for trout but got nothing. Nellie made tea in the field & we came home abt 7. I found Arthur who was fishing at Cotts hatch & we stayed out till 8.30—but I got one & he only 2 small fish. We had late cold supper. | |
