29 July 1897 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Thursday. 29th [July 1897]. Mrs Lug came again & we began a study in oils. Nelly drove me to the Warren after tea where Col. Mansel had gone. He came to lunch & stayed all the afternoon. I got no fish. Stopped for a short time at Cobbs—but got nothing. Lady Margaret Jenkins arrived to stay. | |
