6 September 1897 — Salce, Belluno | |
Monday. 6th [September 1897]. Painted—wrote letters &c. After tea Carry & I drove to Sacchieva to see the Wiels. I took a walk with Mme Wiel. Carry sat with Miss Wolf. We drove part of the way back & walked part. The sunset lit up the Cadore mountains in a most marvellous way. Too beautiful for words– | |
