6 October 1897 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. [6th October 1897]. It was a dull day– Nela & Francie were going out to paint with Sr Brugnoli but had instead to paint at home which they did from 2 to 4. I had a visit fm Sir Henry & Lady & Miss Mallet & showed them the pictures. Then came Baroness Oesterreicher to see me. I did not go out at all. Played besique in the evening with Francie. | |
