7 October 1897 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 7th [October 1897]. Wrote in morning. Afternoon the 2 Nela & Francie went out in gondola painting with their master. I & Fred went out in sandolo to Piazza & took a walk & returned home to tea– After dinner had a visit from the Bishop of Ely & Lady Alwyne Compton, Miss Anderson & Miss Fellowes who are leaving Venice tomorrow. | |
