21 November 1897 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 21st [November 1897]. The fog lifted & we had a splendid morning. Nela & I went to the English service held in the Palazzo Morosini Gattenburg. Afterwards she walked with Hilda Montalba & brought her here to lunch with us. We went out in gondola after she left—towards evening the fog came back upon us. | |
