Sunday. 3rd [April 1898]. I went to the German Chapel Royal to the English service at 10 o’cl. From there I went to Arthur who was sitting up in his chair & was in good spirits. Sat with him some time & then walked home. Met Alice Hallam Murray on the way & had a few words with her. Gus Alderson came to lunch & also Louis Du Cane & Bee Eliot. Later Mr Herbert Thompson called & Css Anne Lützow & then Hallam Murray. The latter & I looked through some of Henry’s old papers together. I went to dine at 17 Cav. Sqr. | |
