5 September 1898 — Branksome Dene, Poole, Dorset | |
Monday. 5th [September 1898]. Still very hot. Ola left for London by an early train. Miss Marshall left after lunch. We sat about in the garden all day & in the cool corners of the house. Maria felt the heat very much & did not dine downstairs. | |
