21 September 1898 — Budleigh Salterton | |
Wednesday. 21st [September 1898]. Edgar continues to improve. Sat with Jane & also with Edgar. Took a drive in afternoon with Jane & Leo & they showed me Budleigh Church with the old carved pews on one of which is carved Sir W. Raleigh’s arms. Home to 5 tea—& then I took a walk with Leo. | |
