Saturday. 1st October [1898]. Still busy working at settling house wine plate &c. Out in afternoon. Mr & Mrs Curtis, Genl de Horsey to tea—later the Belmondos. Sir Edward & Lady Poynter arrived here & their young son Hugh an old boy of 15. Clara Montalba came in the evening. | |
