Wednesday. 30th [November 1898]. Augusta & I worked together looking out for the documents to be typed to complete the MSS of Henry’s mission to Spain. This took up the morning. After 5 o’cl tea I wrote a long letter to Mrs Browning trying to persuade her to think of a reconciliation with her husband. I am afraid is not much use but I think I must try. Walked to Piazza. | |
