14 December 1898 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 14th December [1898]. Mr Passini came to lunch with me—& then I went out for a walk with Mrs Eden. I went on to Hotel Danieli to call on the Dss of Buckingham who is here for a few days with her husband the Lord Egerton of Tatton & a Miss Egerton a cousin of hers. The Duchess is still beautiful but looks very delicate. | |
