22 June 1900 — 3 Savile Row | |
Friday. 22nd [June 1900]. I had a headache & though I got up as usual in the morning I had to return to bed for most of the day in order to be able to sit up in the evening when I had people dining with me viz—Lord & Lady Wimborne, Genl & Lady Stanley Clark, the subdean of the Chapels Royal, Sir Arthur Otway & Sir William & Lady de Voeux. It was a pleasant little party & every body seemed to get on well together. | |
