18 September 1900 — Landro | |
Tuesday. 18th [September 1900]. Nela, Eda & Issie walked off after breakfast to Lago Misurina & to meet us at Cortina, Virginia, Julia & I left after lunch. We walked as far as the top of the pass where the carriage with my maid and luggage picked us up. We reached the Aguila Nera kept by my old acquaintances the 2 brothers Ghedina & found the other part of our party just arrived 5 P.M. We got good rooms– Dined at 7.30– Played patience. Bed. | |
