12 February 1901 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 12th [February 1901]. Weather not so bright today. I went on foot after lunch to the Piazza & the gondola there met me. I paid Mr Eden a visit– He was alone & I sat with him a little while. The days are drawing out & it does not get dark till near 6 P.M. Mr Montalba called. | |
