9 April 1901 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 9th April [1901]. The Duncannon party left for Rome by 9.50 train this morning & will arrive there at midnight. The Oranmores left for Milan on their way to London by 2 o’cl train & I am once more alone. The house seems strangely quiet of the rush of these last days. I am rather tired & hoarse. The weather is lovely & quite hot. | |
