12 June 1901 — 3 Savile Row
Wednesday. 12th [June 1901]. Up as usual & to the dentist at 10. Did not go out again & worked sewing machine. Blanche had arranged to take me out driving but as it was cold & wet did not come till after tea with Vere– Mr Walrond called & Reggie Alderson & Nellie got them to help to rearrange the furniture in the drawing room. When Mr Seymour Allen called I was obliged to take him out on the staircase landing to get out of the way of the furniture moving. I went to dine at 17 Cavendish Square. Edward & Irène were out. The Oranmores & Vere & Myles were there. Very wet night & I very tired came home at 10.30.
