Sunday. 24th [November 1901]. I walked to church in the morning. We had a visit from Sr Saccardo the architect of St Marks & introduced him & Mr Poynter to each other. Saccardo offered to take my party over the church of St Marks. In the evening Mr Poynter took Emilia to the Opera at the Rossini. | |
