2 December 1901 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Monday. 2nd [December 1901]. Continued my copy of the Giov: Bellini in the morning. Mr Evelyn Murray left on a little tour—so we are now 3 women alone here. Visit from the new Waldense pasteur. I went out at 5 alone—called on Mme Reinelt & Mrs Harston whom I found still living in the greatest discomfort—evidently unable to arrange her house—called to bid farewell to the Curtis who leave tomorrow for Rome for the winter– Taught Emilia besique in the evening as Sophy went early to bed.
