2 January 1902 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 2nd [January 1902]. Modelled nearly all day. It was very cold & foggy– I went out with Emilia in gondola took her to see the old staircase behind the Piazza Manin & left various cards. Not feeling well I sent for Dr Sacchi & he came in the evening & said I am feverish. Read Boccaccio aloud to Emilia in the evening– Wrote many letters– | |
