7 January 1902 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Tuesday. 7th [January 1902]. I went to call on Mlle Aspasie Kwekwitsch to wish her a merry Greek Christmas & then Emilia & I went to tea with the Edens– Messrs Williamson & Byard dined with us & I had usual reception in the evening. Count Wenckheim brought his little 12 year old daughter to play the violin to us– It was an ordeal to the poor child– She played correctly & prettily but nothing extraordinary.
