25 March 1902 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. [25th March 1902]. No voice today & a little fever. I fear I am in for the influenza. I had a little dinner party, Baroness Reinelt, Iduna Belmondo, Mr Montalba, Mr Byard & Comm. Malagola of the Archives—a very few friends came in the evening as being Holy Week the Italians dont go out. I was not sorry as I am tired & voiceless. | |
