10 August 1902 — 3 Savile Row | |
Sunday. 10th August [1902]. Nellie & I went down to the 10.30 service at the chapel royal & then afterwards to write my name at Buckingham Palace—then home. Connie came in later from the St James’ Ch. Royal & said the King & Queen had been at the service there & the King had only sat down during the singing of the Psalms. After lunch I went down to Eaton Square to see Lady Sligo & then returned home to tea. Dined with Sir Wm & Lady Humphreys & met Mr C. Alderson– | |
