23 July 1903 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 23rd [July 1903]. Woke with headache & fever & had to remain in bed all day & call in the Dr. In the afternoon Clara Montalba came & sat with me awhile & we strung bead necklaces. At 12.30 the Nurse Matron of our Eng. Hospital Miss Eaton arrived to stay with me while the house is being arranged for her. | |
