Friday. 21st [August 1903]. Nellie & I left by the 5.50 train for Templecombe to go & stay at Inwood with Merthyr & Theo. We got there at 8.30—& had tea & went early to bed– Nellie is much worried about her uncle Lord Salisbury & has been receiving telegrams as to his health twice a day– He is now dying & it cannot be long before we hear of the end. | |
