26 August 1903 — 3 Savile Row
Wednesday. 26th [August 1903]. I went down to Cav. Sqr after tea to take leave of Edward & Blanche who left for Ireland this eveng. Found Blanche had a tooth rather aching wh Dr Chamberlain had stopped for her so she & I jumped into a hansom at 7.15 & went to his house to consult him. He was out so Blanche & I parted in Bond St & she went home in the cab & I walked home. She had only time left to dine & go off to take the Irish mail.
