Friday. 9th [October 1903]. Resumed work of typing my mother’s letters in 1838. One from Venice & others from different places in Italy. After a short walk on the Piazza I came home to tea & had Canon St John & his lovely granddaughter, Mr Harston, Mrs Browning & Miss Louise Broadwood who is come from Rome to stay with her—a handsome pleasant young woman. | |
