15 October 1903 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 15th [October 1903]. Css Brazza & Signorina Negris left by a 10 o’cl train for the South. Mr Hitchens lunched with Violet & me & we took him out in gondola & rowed to Sa Rosa where we tried to sketch a bit & came home at sunset wh was not as fine as usual. Went out again in gondola—but it was too damp to be pleasant. | |
