4 January 1904 — Paris | |
Monday. 4th [January 1904]. I sat in my own room till lunch time at 12. Then Sophy drove me in to Paris in the brougham & I bought my railway tickets for tomorrow’s journey to London. Went to try on my dress at the dressmakers—& then we drove back to La Muette– Mme François de Franqueville & her two little children came to stay at La Muette. A pretty gentle creature. After dinner a “petite dame” came to play the piano which made the evening pass pleasantly. | |
