15 April 1904 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 15th [April 1904]. We all went to see the D. & Dss della Grazia at the Palazzo Vendramin in the afternoon at 4 as they hade invited the Princess to take tea with them. It was quite a family party & they showed us round the house wh is interesting. Some of the rooms tho’ half furnished have Bourbon family portraits and leather hangings &c &c. The house is very big. They have many relics of the Duke’s mother the Duchesse de Diori. | |
