1 September 1904 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 1st September [1904]. Went to lunch with the Curtis to meet the Bishop of Ely & Lady Alwyne & afterwards took a walk in the Piazza & home by 4. Mrs C. Balfour & Lady Mary Mills called at tea time being in Venice for a fortnight. Afterwards came Iduna Bel. & sat long chatting. Last evening Sister Katherine came at 7 & I did the hospital accounts for August. | |
