4 September 1904 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 4th [September 1904]. Went to morning service– Mr & Mrs Ady & their daughter came to tea bringing with them Mrs Ady’s brother Mr Cartwright (chief clerk of our F.O.) & Mr Tower our Minister at Munich who had arrived unexpectedly. Mrs Curtis also came– They stayed a long time chatting until the Belmondos came in delighted to see Messrs Cartwright & Tower whom they had known also at Consple. | |
