Saturday. 3rd [September 1904]. Had a letter from Sir Rennell Rodd asking if I had receipts for the pictures here—to show the Italian Govt to prove Henry had bought them before the law to prevent export of old pictures from Italy. I found some papers & sent them off to Sir Rennell. Then having a bad headache I retired to my room & there remained for the rest of the day– | |
