6 September 1904 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 6th [September 1904]. Painted in the morning. Afternoon went to the Hospital—found no patients in. Had usual Tuesday eveng reception, Mrs Balfour & Lady M. Currie, the Bp of Ely & Lady Alwyne & Miss Soulsby & the Malagola family were the only people who came. Mr Musgrave arrived after 12 at night. I waited up to greet him & so got late to bed. | |
