29 June 1905 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Thursday. 29th [June 1905]. I went out to the last conference of the Blue Cross at the Pal. Morosini by Dr Garioni. His theme was “Babies” & their treatment. He was very sensible in his advice & especially as to much washing babies & not swaddling them. After lunch, I finished correcting my typed copy of Henry’s journal in 1838, & after tea went out in gondola to the Cos: Hos:—to the Eden’s garden—had a long talk with Mr Eden over the hospital arrangements. Carrie cut me some lovely roses & oleander flowers. I went after dinner again & took Ola out.
