5 August 1905 — Harrogate | |
Saturday. 5th [August 1905]. In the afternoon Nela & I went with Ivor to a concert in the Kurhaus to hear Albani sing. She sang “Pur di [illegible word].” Her voice tho’ not fresh very agreeable to hear—so beautifully cultivated. Ivor enjoyed it. After tea I went for a drive in the motor with Cornelia & did not dislike it as much as I expected—tho’ my heart was in my mouth several times. | |
