16 September 1905 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 16th [September 1905]. I went in the afternoon to see the Genl & found him not so well & not able to go out. He was feeling the great heat very much also– I went afterwards to see Mrs Curtis & gave her news of the Genl. Later I went out in gondola with Bss Reinelt & then brought her back to dine with us. | |
