20 September 1905 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 20th September [1905]. Sir William Richmond came to stay with me from Assisi. He came to take part in the Artistic Congress which is being held here this week. The King & Q. of Italy also arrived today to be present at the opening of it. The pageant on the water was rather spoilt by the weather which was uncertain. | |
