3 December 1905 — Lahore
Sunday. 3rd December [1905]. We went to morning service in Cathedral which evidently was quite an unfashionable thing to do. There was only a company of soldiers & a few officers & their families. Otherwise the place was empty. From there we went to see the Bruces & sat talking to them in the Reid’s garden & then back to lunch in camp. We went at 4 to Govt House & had tea in the garden with the Rivaz. Sir Charles took us round the gardens wh are very extensive. Dined in camp & packed for our journey tomorrow.
